Long Hallways (Falling For Forever)

I’m falling forever
They pulled the ground right from under my airs
I’m falling forever
Friendly skies please teach me how to walk on air
I never hurt you with my fist
My punches landed one hundred percent
I don’t know what could be worse
Then “hold my beer” is what I heard …

Long hallways
Don’t know how I got inside
Long hallways
With no ending in sight
Long hallways
No door to put my foot in
Long hallways
No window for the rain to hit up against
Long hallways
No corners to cut at all
Long hallways
Gotta crawl before I can walk
Long hallways
I’m tired of being lonely and googly-eyed in my search
Long hallways
I wish I could listen to a picture with a thousand words
Long hallways
It’s dark and I wanna bump into something
Long hallways
Maybe if I dance like Michael Jackson these paving stones will start glowing?
Long hallways
I’m never gonna get outta here
Long hallways
Because I was cool with being a hot head with a warm heart but I hate cold hands and drunk all its beer

As always,
Long hallways

Today is my birthday, and I’m riding high …

    1. It was actually on June 6 but I greatly appreciate it anyway. That was just the first lines of my favorite Lorde song.

Glad you read it that way cause it’s meant to be sung instead of read.

Not sure if you got my comments on your recent post. Are you feeling better health wise?

            1. I’ll just say make private videos for y’all to watch like you’re already doing just to get comfortable with the camera. I told you that you’re missing out on a huge market being a first time mom. You can just start with how you and him met or the process of pregnancy. I think doing a daily sort of vlogging will work. Or this don’t even have to be the focus. Y’all can show your talents such as cooking or whatever and people can fall in love with y’all as people.

                1. Exactly! I want to send you a link to 4 but 1 in particular that will answer this question. I will say it in summary here. There is not a limited amount of views on the internet. You are not competing with other Youtubers for views because views are unlimited. There isn’t a limit of a million views and you only get a 100 of those cause the market is saturated. The only way you’re competing with others is if you are putting out the same exact content. Which leads me to my next point … you take what is proven to work and you REMIX it and that’s when your world will expand. Like me…it’s a thousand basketball channels out there but I can remix mines with showing something the other channels aren’t doing. I truly believe YouTube is the best platform for creative people.

                    1. So one day I was on YouTube and came across this ad. It was about making a full time living off YouTube. There are 4 videos from 12 minutes to an hour. While these videos are free he is trying to get people to enroll in online YouTube courses that’s a whopping $997 and that’s only if you pay in full. The man behind it does have a channel with nearly 3 million subs he is talking from experience but the whole thing is sooooo salesy it turns me off. So don’t fall for his shit unless you got a extra thousand dollars just laying around.

            1. Yeah, that’s what I mean. Just do private videos and analyze them and optimize them to be entertaining. Y’all make do a hour video but only 4 minutes make the cut cause that’s what y’all deem as entertaining

                1. Do it like a reality show. Use alternating angles to keep it dynamic. Talk directly to a person just as usual then have a “confessional” room where you talk directly to a camera. But it really depends on the focus of your channel. You don’t have to do a mommy blog at all. I was just throwing it out there. You can do something where you won’t be on camera at all. Just write down about 10-15 things y’all both passionate about. Narrow it to the one that has the biggest market where people are passionate about the topic.
